Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

She's brash! She's bold! She's Fired! Cass Jordan, a tough Philly girl, is no match for the angry, threatening mobs that swarm her work place. Their presence and accusations cost Cass her job. Desperate to escape, and to the horror of her socialite mother, Cass accepts a position as director for a free medical clinic in the backwoods of North Carolina.

The people of Mason Valley, warmly accept Cass, no questions asked-except for one person- Ryan Scott, the worker assigned to the clinic's construction crew. Ryan, the town's resident recluse, takes rudeness to a new level, and harbors a deep distrust of spoiled, rich, city girls. What could a designer-shoe-wearing city dweller like Cass Jordan know about the needs of this isolated mountain town?

Cass had barely met the clinic's board of directors and its micromanaging CFO when the stalking begins. Had someone followed her from Philadelphia, and was still out for revenge? Determined to rebuild her professional life, and get the clinic staffed and opened, Cass refuses to be forced from another job. Despite the danger she faces, she's through running away.

As the stalker becomes bolder, the locals, including the reclusive Ryan, band together to protect Cass, and plot to catch the person who threatens her life.Check out additional novels by Leigh Anders on Amazon.
