Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Long ago, a war was fought by the gods. Odin, the Allfather, and his Aesir emerged victorious, laying claim to the power of immortality. Afraid of that power being stolen, Odin locked it away, granting only a select few the key to finding it.Centuries later, men and jealous gods still seek immortality and the secrets that Odin kept from even those closest to him.Only the champion of magic chosen by Yggdrasil can stand in their way and protect those secrets from falling into the wrong hands.Thyra Ariksen is that champion, the fulfillment of prophecy and heir to the power of the god of thunder and lightning. She is a child of the storm and the bridge between the old ways of the gods and the new age of man.But so far, all she has done as champion is hide. Now, with the threat of immortality being stolen and her claim to the mantle of Thor challenged, Thyra must decide for herself who she will be. This age needs more than a reluctant champion. It needs a goddess! And a goddess needs a weapon...The Lightning Goddess Chronicles continues with THE FALL OF IDUNN, the sequel to the BookLife Prize 2021 Finalist, THE EYE OF ODIN.
