Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

An epic adventure! Egypt: the shimmering sun beats down on the Nile. The sands are shifting in the searing hot desert, but so is time. The Baxters travel back a hundred years, knowing they have to be in the Valley of The Kings, when Howard Carter discovers the tomb of the Boy King, Tutankhamun. Disaster strikes, and the time machine has a problem, which means Robert, James and Lucy have an even bigger one! They find themselves stuck three thousand years ago in an ancient civilisation coming face to face with Tut and Queen Nefertiti. How will their Uncle Archie ever find them? How will they survive in the land of many gods? The only way the children can possibly succeed is if they work to their strengths, but can they do it in a time so long ago?"Stuck in the Land of the Pharaohs" is a stand-alone story and is the sixth book in the "Stuck" series. The series feature adventure stories that blend fiction with actual events and people to create an enjoyable and informative read full of drama with a sprinkling of humour. Like all of the books in the series, Stuck in Time can be enjoyed by children 8+, but adults will have a fun read too!
