Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

HARDBACK EDITIONThe thrilling adventures of Joseph retold in verse.Follow Joseph's eventful life, as his step-brothers mock him for his dreams then sell him as a slave into Egypt, where he is falsely accused and thrown into jail. An apparent chance meeting with Pharaoh's butler catapults him from prison to the palace, where he becomes the prime minister of all Egypt. Joseph's final showdown with his step-brothers comes into sharp relief when Judah puts his life on the line for Joseph's full brother Benjamin. This new and original poetic version of the well known Bible story faithfully follows the Bible narrative. Sumptuously illustrated by the author, it is designed to appeal to children and adults alike.Suitable for children from 4 years and upwards. One or two words in this 'epic poetic' may be unfamiliar to very young children. By harnessing the power of repetition when read aloud by a parent or older reader who enjoys the poetic rhythm of the story, the child will gain an intuitive understanding and enjoyment of the English language in action. The child's vocabulary will grow from their love of language. Time spent reading aloud to children is time well spent and will get them off to a great start when the time comes for more formal learning.
