There are memories to uncover and memories to be made. Simply listen to their whispers and swim in their delights. Fly with their possibilities and follow the scent to their discovery. The magic of memories is everywhere, so come walk with me through my garden of wonders.Pam Davison has been using photography to tell stories and awaken memories since 2008. Nature is where she finds most of her inspiration. The beauty in the imperfect. The magic of mother nature. Her other great love is gowns and couture. How then to combine the two? She sought out renowned couture designer, Linda Britten. They have worked together on three projects combining Pam's photographs and Linda's couture designs. Pam is passionate about photography being printed on fabric, then recreated into a garment to bring the photograph and perhaps a memory back to life. This story was created into a physical world and exhibited in March 2026. It combined the story, the photographs and the gowns but it wasn't the entire story.Davison wrote the story as a picture book for adults. It's a story of an old woman who has forgotten the magic of childhood wonder. One day she is taken on a walk with a young girl who reminds her not only where the magic lives, but how to remember forgotten memories. It is a reminder to us all. Thus another collaboration was born with Jacqui-Maree Bailey beautifully illustrating the story. Davison has ensured that the magic of memory and childhood wonder is all around us, at any age, if we simply open our eyes and hearts to it.About the author Pam Davison is an artist who has achieved recognition and awards for her photography, short stories, playwriting and poetry. Since 2009, she has concentrated primarily on photography. Her art has evolved through a series of major exhibitions into a practice that explores the creation and curation of memories (often involving the natural world) through a combination of photography, prose, and fashion. Pam creates a world where memories linger and dreams come true. Pam lives in Willamstown, Victoria, Australia with her husband and greyhound."This story feels like a Peter Pan moment - a gentle reminder of the wonder we often lose beneath the responsibilities and routine of life. It invites adults to reconnect with their inner child, to remember the magic in ordinary moments, and to rediscover the imagination and awe that once came so naturally. Rather than asking us to become someone new, it simply encourages us to remember who we've been all along. That's what makes this book so special. It speaks to the child within us and celebrates the awe that allows generations to connect through shared imagination and memory. While not written as a children's book, it's a story that can be beautifully shared with a child - offering adults the gift of remembering, while encouraging children to hold onto their sense of wonder for as long as possible." - J. O'Rafferty
