Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Creation: A Visual Meditation through the Seven Movements of Genesis brings together twenty-one works in encaustic wax, clay, earth-based pigments, metallic leaf and mixed media, following the movement of the Genesis creation accounts from darkness and deep water into light, life, relationship and rest.Rather than offering a literal illustration of creation, the artworks invite the reader to linger with the text: to notice colour, texture and form, to wonder, and to make space for reflection and prayer. Structured around Genesis 1:1-2:3, the series also draws at key moments on the earth-and-breath imagery of Genesis 2, exploring humanity's place within creation as both earth-formed and God-imaged.This expanded hardcover edition includes reflections on the materials and processes behind the artworks, guidance for contemplative looking, and a simple five-part rhythm of Notice, Wonder, Listen, Contemplate and Pray for each work. The journey concludes not with another image, but with Sabbath - an invitation to stop, receive and rest.Created for personal devotion as well as shared reflection, Creation can be used slowly over time, as a companion to prayer, in retreats and small groups, or simply as an invitation to look again at the goodness of the world God has made.
