Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Brumby Dreaming is a heartwarming Australian adventure about family, wild horses, and the magic that lives just beyond the everyday world.Living on a bush property near Freemans Waterhole, young Kerin shares a deep bond with her horse Sunny and the wild Australian bush. But when she is thrown from Sunny and knocked unconscious during a ride, she awakens to something extraordinary, a mysterious white brumby who speaks to her through her dreams. His name is Kane, and he is no ordinary wild horse. Surrounded by a shimmering purple haze and guarded by curious, rabbit-like creatures, Kane leads a herd of brumbies who are being hunted by two cruel men, including Kerin's own creepy neighbour, Mr Peters. As Kerin's vivid dreams become harder to dismiss as imagination, she discovers that her older sister Judy shares the same strange connection to Kane. Together, the sisters must find a way to protect the brumbies from capture and certain death even if it means taking risks that could land them in serious trouble.Set against the stunning backdrop of the Australian bush, Brumby Dreaming is a beautifully told story of courage, loyalty, and the unbreakable bond between humans and horses. Perfect for readers who love animal adventures, family secrets, and a touch of magic in the wild.
