This handbook is intended to help in the identifications of objects dropped from the air.It states:Until the harmless nature of any object is established, it should be approached with care and all the precautions laid down should be strictly observed. British smoke floats. The following descriptions and illustrations will facilitate the recognition of these objects which should be disposed of in accordance with existing instructions for the disposal of unexploded bombs and parachute mines and, as regards other objects, through the agency of the Police, in accordance with the instructions they have received.
