Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In the summer of 1945, fourteen Nazi POWs were hanged in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, for having murdered their fellow inmates.Mindful of this historical truth, please meet Fritz Graf, a bright, resourceful POW from rommel's Afrika Korps, who more than welcomes the novel whiff of American freedom. Watch this former orphan and gifted poser escape a Nazi-infested POW camp and leapfrog into a colorful, yet utterly corrupt Mexico. Actually, he is well within reach of fulfilling his dream of starting a new, independent life - including the promise of a passionate love relationship - when all is shattered by the scourge of the FBI and the Mexican police. The big questions are: How can he survive the ensuing cat and mouse game? Avoid Mexican prisons and American gallows? And finally, how can he bear the gall of adversity without cracking up?
