Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

As Russia's war in Ukraine drains its military, economy, and political stability, the balance of power across Eurasia begins to shift. A weakened Russian state faces mounting internal pressures while China watches closely, calculating that history may be offering a once-in-a-century opportunity.Drawing on the historical legacy of the Treaties of Aigun (1858) and Peking (1860)-agreements still remembered in China as part of the "Unequal Treaties"-this gripping geopolitical thriller imagines a future in which Russia stands on the brink of collapse. Under the pretext of securing its borders and restoring historical justice, China launches a bold invasion of Siberia. What follows is a conflict that reshapes the world. Russia's imperial ambitions come to a dramatic end. A new independent republic-Sibir-emerges in central Siberia. Northeastern Siberia changes hands, and the global balance of power is transformed in ways few could have imagined.Blending military strategy, international politics, and historical context, this thought-provoking novel explores one possible future born from today's geopolitical tensions. While the events are fictional, the questions they raise about power, history, and the changing world order are strikingly real. Will this vision of the future ever come to pass? Only time will tell.
