Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Evolution is what all species must embrace, lest they face extinction. The Human species is most definitely no exception. A few decades ago, the Human Race split into two halves. The common, globe-spanning Homo Sapiens, and the fast-growing, secretive Novum Hominem, the New Humans. They look, act and sound exactly like ordinary men and women of all races. Mother Nature made the Novum Hominem different, with sharper senses and greater durability. Some of them see themselves as the future rulers of the Planet Earth. Cain James Volmar is a young man living in the City of Brockton, Massachusetts, with his family while attending prestigious Magnus College, a secretive training ground created by the Novum Hominem. It's a school which only accepts the sons and daughters of the world's secret genetic elite. The Novum Hominem are ruled by the powerful Curia, and protected by the super-strong, ruthless Praetors. Cain and his pals Majida Khan and Derek Shore chafe under the Institution's draconian rules. What secrets are they hiding ? When an unknown force threatens both Humans and Superhumans, Cain must forge an unlikely alliance in order to defeat an evil older than the stars.
