Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The muse is not ordinary and neither is the poetry. Placing the everyday Scottish urban life in a cinematic context and where they meet is a sweet spot indeed.Ian has come back to his hometown, he has changed and so has the town. These intersections inform the narrative, supported by gorgeous images and backstories that still leave plenty for the reader's imagination. You don't have to know the Vale of Leven to appreciate these works, since the themes are universal and the subject matters should be familiar to most. These poems will make you cry, laugh, think and sometimes all of these at the same time. There are connections within these works and muses within muses. Check out The Haldane, 1970s Pub Culture and Alexandria's very own French Quarter. A rich, in some cases surreal, mosaic and travelogue provide a very satisfactory read. The poems are presented in a chronological order, created over the last few years; coinciding with the author's return to his beloved Vale. The rock between Loch Lomond (Drumkinnon Bay) and near where the River Clyde Rolls.
