Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Great War Battle Honours, recording the final official list issued under Army Order 55 in February 1925, is a fascinating and authoritative reference to the campaigns and actions recognised in the aftermath of the First World War. Covering the Western Front, Gallipoli, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Italy, and Salonika, it documents honours such as Mons, Ypres, the Somme, and Cambrai. Particularly valuable is its explanation of how selected honours were approved for display on regimental colours, permanently preserving the military service and traditions of British and Imperial regiments.
