Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Emperor is a book made up of two parts: a riveting personal memoir and a collection of poems on the pride, vanity, and wretched excess of certain Roman emperors. Each poem begins with a fragment of Latin taken from a contemporary Roman source, then moves on to literal prose translation, and finally to the poem itself, which is not simply another translation, but an attempt to reveal the shadowy outlines of the satanic hidden within. These are the archetypes of the demonic---the Principalities and Powers, the World Rulers of the Present Darkness.
