Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Promise to Poppy relates the story of a grandson's fulfillment of a promise to his grandfather. While the entire Bath Pond series centers around people helping people, this volume takes the Gregson Family Foundation's and the Productive Life Foundation's efforts a bit further. It is the story of a young professional musician, Derek Davidson, who finds himself in difficult situations. Derek works for both foundations and emerges as the public face and primary entertainer for both. Acclaimed nationwide as an accomplished musical performer and in constant demand, he remains on the move from ballrooms to churches to annual corporate meetings to upscale assisted living facilities. He and his companions succeed in developing a method to help ordinary working people increase their income by educating them so they may serve in more responsible positions. Derek is able to successfully initiate interest in the outreach of the foundations, resulting in new and different opportunities for genuine altruism. Few who are entertained ever realize his mission but respond to his influence and requests. It's A real heartwarming story!
