Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In this provocative and original work, Nadeem Haque presents a compelling case-drawing on the Qur'an and other sources-that the Buddha was not only a Prophet in Islam but one of its Major Prophets. Through detailed textual analysis, he explores where Buddhism has preserved the Buddha's original message and where it has departed from it. The book examines how and why these changes occurred, offering fresh insights into the shared spiritual core between Islam and the Buddha's teachings. Haque's argument invites readers to reconsider long-heldassumptions, with the aim of fostering understanding, justice, and compassion in a more interconnected world. By tracing the message back to its roots, he proposes a vision in which the wisdom of the Buddha and the principles of Islam converge in a unifi ed call to truth and peace.
