Magic, as it turns out, is real. And so are the monsters who lurk in the shadows. When Custodian Mary Blackthorne, the protector of Sydney, offers to teach him how to wield the power of The Cascade, he agrees, because who the hell wouldn't want to learn magic? But maybe he should have questioned her true motives before signing up. Maybe he should have asked what happened to the Custodian's last apprentice...Joey's life gets madder by the day as he delves into the world of tech-savvy elves, impeccably dressed vampires, sun-tanned witches, and demons who have crawled up from the darkest corners of the Realms Below. But there is something brewing in the city. Something sinister that could bring the city to its knees. Joey had better learn magic fast because his life, and the lives of those closest to him, will depend on it.The Stolen Wizard is the first book in the Joey Finch urban fantasy series by Peter J.
