Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Archbishop Mark Coleridge of Brisbane In this volume, leaders from Catholic social services and the broader Church explore what it means to be a Catholic ministry, and what difference that makes to the communities that we serve. Such dialogue is welcome, indeed necessary if we are to be true to our Gospel-inspired mission of standing with those who are disadvantaged and marginalised. It fits well with the journey towards the 2020 synod of the whole Catholic Church in Australia, which we can expect to engage with contemporary issues of justice, peace and development. John L Allen Jr 'Pope Francis...a Magna Carta for Catholic social services in flesh and bone' Lisa McDonald 'when faith becomes active through love, we form a community of people who have a mission impact far beyond hours served' Anne Kirwan 'the point of difference is staff understanding how Catholic Social Teaching relates to their own values, and the way they work with clients and families'
