Even long memories fade, but murder never dies.LARGE PRINT EDITIONThe week between Christmas and New Year's is a notoriously slow news week. Not this year, not for Elizabeth Danniher of KWMT-TV. After 25 years in prison, convicted murderer Dean Isaacs has returned to Sherman, Wyoming, and nobody knows why. A debatable accident, a scam, and two long-ago deaths swirl together with professional jealousies, family secrets, and hot debate over the "lost" Battle of Cottonwood County. Elizabeth, her KWMT colleagues, and her investigative cohorts race to solve old and new mysteries before the New Year scatters their suspects for good. But before they can defeat the deadly forces at work around them, they must untangle the long-hidden Back Story.Meanwhile, Elizabeth's exploring what comes next - in her career, her life, and her relationships with family, friends, and those who'd like to be more than friends. What people are saying about the CAUGHT DEAD IN WYOMING series"E.M.'s internal monologues are sharp, snappy and often hilarious.""Hoping this series lasts forever!""McLinn has created in E.M. a female protagonist who is flawed but likable, never silly or cartoonish, and definitely not made of cardboard.""While the mystery itself is twisty-turny and thoroughly engaging, it's the smart and witty writing that I loved the best." -- Diane Chamberlain, bestselling authorMore mystery from Patricia McLinnSecret Sleuth seriesDeath on the DiversionDeath on Torrid AvenueDeath on Beguiling WayDeath on Covert CircleDeath on Shady BridgeDeath on Carrion LaneDeath on ZigZag TrailDeath on Puzzle PlaceThe Innocence TrilogyProof of InnocencePrice of InnocencePremise of Innocence
