She spent 47 years blossoming in the Caribbean sun of St. Thomas.Dr. White's illustrious career saw her retire from the employment of the Virgin Islands Department of Education on December 31, 1994. Yet, retirement was just the beginning. She brought her wisdom and experience to FEMA and retired at age 83. Dr. White discovered within her many "I can do that talents" and entered senior beauty pageants for more than 20 years. She displayed her many talents, was featured in the award-winning film Pretty Old, and won a Global Beauty Award in 2022,Her commitment to community service is unwavering, from her active years in Rotary to her ongoing volunteer work in Kissimmee, Florida, where she currently lives.
