Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Hightly appealing content: The social commentary in this collection should resonate deeply with younger to middle-aged demographics (washed-up Hollywood actors, chatbots, climate change, indie bands, etc.); Ridge won the 2016 Italo Calvino prize, and his writing will definitely appeal to fans of Calvino; Ridge is fairly well connected in the academic writing communities and has already discussed doing events with our Sarabande authors he knows well; Timely release: This collection pubs in May, and these truly hilarious stories, most of which take place in California, are perfect for summer reading, which we will factor into marketing; Strong market in our region since this is part of the Bruckheimer Series, Ridge is from Louisville, and some of the stories explicitly take place in Louisville; 8-city national tour
