Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Perrigo family has a problem? Yes, for genealogical enthusiasts trying to make heads and tails of the various lineages of the families, the problem comes up in the names: John, James, Elijah, Robert, David, Charles-generation after generation. The use of these same first names make for confusing work trying to delineate the various family strains. This effort by descendant, Virgil Raines, has taken out a few kinks in the lines that have been mysteriously elusive for many researchers before him. Virgil Raines has interwoven many stories about the ancestry of the Perrigo lines that makes this a resource for his family that is rich with the history of Colonial America. The appendix of the book has a reference section with a list of books, published articles and publications, and even documented sources that have not been published. The book also contains two indexes: One based on military involvement of the Perrigo family and the historic figures and places of note, as well as an index by family name, including both the male figures and as much information regarding the female lines of the family as possible.
