Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Marcus Pinter's blog, ArTique, about Eastern Shore art is not always popular. Still, he talked Gypsy Lee and Linda at Bay View Harbor Bakery into hanging artists' work. If it sells, he and an artist have a payday. That's why he staged a surprise Saturday exhibit; Linda threatened him with a rolling pin if he did it again.Though art brings customers, Gypsy Lee and Linda aren't pleased that his booth is next to theirs at the Spring Festival. But he doesn't appear the second day. His partners, Lorenzo and Camilla, are concerned but not alarmed. Then Gypsy Lee discovers a ransom note among a tub of tulip-shaped cookies.Later, Marcus' body is discovered in a shed only Linda and one other person have a key to. He annoyed people he sold his artwork and that of others to. But whose art is it? When his reputation unravels, the spotlight on the bakery is brighter.Gypsy Lee's plan to learn more earns her friend Tessa a punch in the stomach, infuriates her police boyfriend Barn Butler, and makes Linda want to sell the bakery. Is finding a killer worth it? Even if she does, can she reclaim friendships?...a fun and intriguing mystery with a charming small-town atmosphere, an unexpected murder, and plenty of questions surrounding the characters.
