Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Pastors does your preaching follow in the tradition of the apostles, whose preaching "turned the world upside down?" Or has God used your mediocre preaching to bring people to faith in Christ and to build up the saints-in spite of its significant weaknesses? The Word of the living God is not boring. It is not irrelevant. It is only poor preachers who seem to make it so. The issue is not God's power to bless but your power to harm!

In Preaching According to the Holy Spirit, Jay Adams sets forth the Holy Spirit's concerns about preaching by studying our models-the Apostolic preachers in the New Testament. He shows how you might say the right thing, with the right words, in the right manner, at the right time. This book will help you to "do your best to present yourself to God tried and true, a workman who won't be ashamed, cutting the Word of truth with accuracy" so that on the last day you will hear, "Well done, you good and faithful servant."
