The Gospels leave Jesus at twelve. Eighteen years later, he steps into the Jordan.Far Country tells the story of the road between. At twenty-five, Yeshua leaves Galilee with Asok, a merchant, and Vidar, his twelve-year-old son. They cross the first-century Mediterranean through Alexandria, Crete, Carthage, Naples, Rome, Athens, and Ephesus.Vidar is writing a book of every name the nations give to God. People bring him questions their priests and philosophers have not answered. He gives them his hands, his attention, and sometimes his silence. The Nazarene: Far Country is Book Two of The Nazarene Saga, a historical novel of the lost years of Jesus. The books fill.
