Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Leon is a middle-aged, self-doubting, lonely, Renaissance Fair performer who doesn't quite know where he fits into the world. When a time traveler dies in his back yard and leaves him a Chronex, Leon jumps into a strange new world of people and creatures that can move freely through time and space.Big Jack O'Fiddien, once a time traveler, now a famous televangelist, knows exactly where he fits into the world. After centuries of searching, he's found a Transcender, an ancient artifact said to bestow god-like powers. With it, he plans to use these powers to become a modern-day messiah and lead the world into a new era of peace and tranquility, no matter what it takes. The only chance Leon and his new family of time travelers have is to stop an ancient ceremony-one that will give Big Jack the power to rule the world and the time-traveling ability to fix any mistakes he makes along the way.-----Creating an enticing literary fusion of Dungeons & Dragons and the first two Back to the Future films with subtle hints of Terminator 2, Michael Garak cooks up a fresh adventure in his most recent, completely original outing. His dynamic band of misfits will draw you in as they traverse to exotic, yet oddly familiar, locales, immersing you into a brand-new universe where magic is just as real as science, and the rules of time travel are unlike anything you've ever experienced before. Prepare to enjoy a satisfying mix of high stakes and witty banter that will have you rethinking the way the world works while taking you back to your first table top gaming night.
