Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The year is 2098 AD. Much has changed on Earth since the beginning of the 21st century, though many things have remained as they were. One change has been the development of a permanent settlement on Mars. When a little girl's father lands a plumb job that takes him to that planet, she is consoled by an angel who whisks her away through time to fantasy worlds where the Universe blossoms into being and the very first mother of humankind opens her eyes. Inspired by his academic studies of prehistory in countries around the world and in deference to his Christian faith, author Gerald Patrick Curran casts fresh eyes on humanity's origins in his novel Darwin Was Not There on That Day: A Different History of Creation. Blending angels and the Eve of the Garden of Eden with Mitochondrial Eve, and adding a dash of time travel, Curran uses elements both fantastical and factual to shed light on real prehistory conundrums that still stump scientists. By the novel's last page, readers will have escaped into a fun adventure and find themselves musing on questions they may have never before considered.
