Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A large RoRo car carrier called the Sea Dragon leaves Tokyo Bay heading for... well, except for the Captain -- known by the international crew of desperados as the 'Big X' -- who knows where? In this pulp simple novel with a pop art feel, the cast is a collection of dangerous characters driven by personal agendas that sometimes defy rational explanation. A young Japanese manga beauty, a terrorist 'suicide poet', a Rasta man... German, Russian, Irish officers... and Caine, the Canadian narrator, a supposedly disgraced quartermaster who is blamed for the sinking of his previous ship. Love, violence andtreachery in the classic noir tradition from the smooth action hand of Lawrence Russell, author of the critically acclaimed novels Radio Brazil and The Secret Island.
