Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Pin¿Up: Good Girls and Bad Girls is a richly illustrated coffee¿table book by artist Maly Siri, celebrating the enduring imagery and glamour of classic pin¿up art inspired by vintage magazines of the 1930s through the 1950s.Through original illustrations, the book explores two iconic pin¿up archetypes. On one side are the "Good Girls"-figures marked by softness, charm, and apparent innocence, drawn from classic magazine imagery and mid¿century ideals. On the other are the "Bad Girls"-bold, seductive, and self¿aware characters whose confidence and style embody a more dangerous allure.Drawing on the visual language of classic pin¿up culture, Siri's artwork pays homage to the models, poses, and aesthetics that defined the era, while reinterpreting them through a contemporary illustrative lens. The result is a curated visual journey through glamour, attitude, and timeless pin¿up iconography.Designed as a gift¿worthy art book, Pin¿Up: Good Girls and Bad Girls is ideal for readers interested in vintage illustration, retro fashion imagery, and the history of pin¿up art. It offers a focused, visually driven tribute to an enduring style that continues to influence popular culture.
