Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

For forty years, I was immersed in the army. I shared the lives of soldiers in conflict zones. Then I cared for veterans in military hospitals where we tried to heal their physical and psychological wounds. I listened to the confidences of veterans from Indochina and Algeria, former peacekeepers in Lebanon and the former Yugoslavia, soldiers who intervened in civil wars in the Central African Republic, Rwanda and Côte d'Ivoire, and men who went to fight insurgents in Afghanistan, Mali and Niger...This experience led me to a conclusion. When tested by war, a man is transformed, his personality changes. He becomes someone else. I got to know this man who became a soldier, then a veteran. I sought to understand each step of his transformation. P. C.War and its psychological consequences seen from a human perspective.
