Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Dr Ibrahim Wada is a recipient of the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for his ground-breaking works in medicine, specifically the breakthrough in in vitro fertilisation (IVF), the birth of the first nationally authenticated 'test tube" baby born in Nigeria in 1998. He became a consultant in 1992 at the prestigious Bourn Hall Clinic Cambridge, the world's first centre for IVF. This book is about his experiences as a tiny boy growing up in the rocky landscapes of Igalaland as well as a young man pursuing a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, leaving the country for further training in the field that is concerned with the issues of infertility. The book narrates his desire to return home to give A Second Chance to his countrymen and women who have challenges of infertility; the book also narrates his failures and triumphs upon return to his country. ¿ "A top-class, must-read-and-have best seller on Infertility Lessons and IVF Treatment in sub Saharan Africa!" - Dr Eldred A. Wright
