Control strategies for prosumers are becoming increasingly important in low-voltage grids as the transformation of the energy system brings new challenges. This thesis provides a comprehensive examination of such strategies and introduces a framework for their systematic development, analysis, and evaluation. The framework includes methods for conceptualization and simulation and considers both grid planning and grid operation aspects. A KPI-based evaluation approach enables a consistent and comparable assessment from different perspectives. In a detailed case study, the framework is applied to nine practically relevant strategies for electric vehicle charging in residential settings. The results underline the importance of designing strategies with regard to the grid state and show that price signals can also be considered, provided that they are appropriately designed. This illustrates a key feature of the developed framework, namely its support for decision-making regarding the design and implementation of control strategies.
