Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

This book contains everything waxbill enthusiasts need to know for selecting the right species – it’s a guide to aspects of keeping, nutrition and health maintenance. The book describes the behaviour of these colourful birds, which, when they are feeling happy and content, will also breed and raise young. For this reason, the book includes the necessary guidelines for ensuring that their breeding will be successful, because today it is more important than ever that no more birds captured in the wild are allowed to be imported. The good side here is that you will then be able to buy bred birds only here, and won’t need to have a bad conscience about having birds removed from the wild. Fifty waxbills that are among the most popular and easiest to keep are presented here in profiles.
