Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Fissurellidae of the Philippines have been briefly documented in "Philippine Marine Mollusks" books. During the last years we obtained much material from tangle netting and fishing operations as deep as 400 m. Because of the considerable number of new species and a few nomenclatural changes we here offer a - for the time being - comprehensive treatment of the Philippine Fissurellidae. A total of 26 new species are described. New taxa: Diodora magnifica n. sp., Diodora occulta n. sp., Emarginella aurea n. sp., Emarginella dharmai n. sp., Emarginella survicapi n. sp., Emarginula annielangleitae n. sp., Emarginula balicasagensis n. sp., Emarginula boucheti n. sp., Emarginula circumalbum n. sp., Emarginula colipanoae n. sp., Emarginula delonguevilleae n. sp., Emarginula gustavi n. sp., Emarginula liuzzii n. sp., Emarginula mactanensis n. sp., Emarginula margarita n. sp., Emarginula philippinensis n. sp., Emarginula quadratum n. sp., Emarginula viridibrunneis n. sp., Emarginula viridis n. sp., Emarginula yangeorum n. sp., Fissurellidea ahuirorum n. sp., Lucapinella henkdekkeri n. sp., Puncturella altaparva n. sp., Puncturella stellasplendida n. sp., Rimula escondida n. sp., Rimula navis n. sp.
