ENGLISH DESCRIPTION This is the story of Palometa, a dove whose joy over laying her first egg makes her want to sing her own song, differetn from those of the other doves around her. In this tender tale, the author develops the theme of identity from the perspective of spoken language and guides the reader to think about linguistic richness and the need to respect all voices, even the ones farthest from the "nest." A book to reflect and discuss linguistic diversity, cultural expression, and respect for diversity.
