La naranja mecánica / A Clockwork Orange

von Anthony Burgess

256 Seiten, Taschenbuch

Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

'Cada generación debería descubrir este libro'. Time Out

Irvine Welsh

In this satirical and disturbing look at young people in full rebellion, fifteen-year-old Alex and his friends embark on a diabolical spree of robbery, rape, torture, and murder. Until Alex is arrested for his crimes and the State attempts to reform him. But at what cost?

Is it a social prophecy? Dark humour? A study of free spirits? A Clockwork Orange is all of these at once, and it also includes a brilliant linguistic experiment in which Burgess creates a teenage slang known as 'nadsat'.

'A terrible and wonderful book.' Roald Dahl

'One of the most groundbreaking and influential novels of all time, and one of the very best.' Irvine Welsh
