This study presents a fractional-order mathematical model for the co-dynamics of malaria and Hepatitis B virus (HBV) transmission in human and mosquito populations. The model classifies individuals into susceptible, exposed, infected, treated, recovered, and co-infected compartments, incorporating memory effects through fractional calculus to better capture real disease progression. The analysis includes the derivation of the basic reproduction number and examination of equilibrium points to assess disease stability. The fractional Adams-Bashforth-Moulton numerical method is used to simulate the model and evaluate the impact of control strategies such as vaccination and treatment. Simulation results show that increased vaccination and treatment rates significantly reduce both single infections and co-infection prevalence. The findings emphasize that integrated intervention strategies are essential for effective control of malaria-HBV co-infection, particularly in resource-limited settings.
