The existence of God has always been a subject of debate among scholars and society, particularly regarding God the Son, known as Jesus, in the Old Testament. This study focuses on exploring the encounter between the Angel of the Lord and Moses on Mount Horeb to demonstrate the existence of Jesus. A textual analysis of the phrase "The Angel of the Lord" in Exodus 3:2-14 will help affirm that the person of God the Son has existed within the Godhead since the beginning. Therefore, this research seeks to uncover the meaning of the phrase "The Angel of the Lord" to enhance Christians' understanding of the doctrine of God the Son. This study employs an exegetical approach to examine the original language historically and textually regarding the concept of the "Angel of the Lord." The findings indicate that the "The Angel of the Lord" is a physical manifestation of God, playing a crucial role in direct communication and presence with humanity. This affirms that the theophany in Exodus 3 serves as evidence of the existence of the second person of the Godhead, whose presence did not begin in the New Testament but was active alongside God the Father and the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament.
