The Government of Cameroon, committed to improving the living conditions and quality of life of its people, has established a framework to ensure the sustainability of the achievements of its projects. This framework includes, among other things, tools such as the PNDP, community involvement, support from development partners, backing from donors, and a set of laws on decentralization. Despite this, it is regrettably observed that the level of sustainability of the outcomes of public projects remains very low. This raises the question of what might be causing this situation. This research therefore focuses primarily on conducting a study aimed at improving stakeholders' ownership of the outcomes of public projects. Specifically, the objectives were: (i) to assess the project implementation framework at MINSANTE (Part 1); (ii) and to develop tools to improve post-project implementation (Part 2). Ultimately, this study led to the development of a draft model for a strategy to ensure the sustainability of the outcomes of public projects, aimed precisely at enhancing the longevity of the resulting benefits.
