The study was undertaken to examine the effect of e-governance on public service delivery in Akwa Ibom State local government areas of Nigeria. Hence, three research objectives, three questions and hypotheses were formulated for the study. Descriptive and survey research design were adopted for the study. Both primary and secondary data were used for the study. Survey research design through questionnaires was used to obtain data, and descriptive design was adopted to analyze the study's context. The study's population was 4,979,418 people affected by the local government areas services (NPC, 2020 in BudgIT, 2025). 420 respondents were selected as sample size using simple random and purposive sampling techniques. Content validation was done by experts and the internal consistency of the research instrument was 0.76. Data gathered were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions while Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) were used to test research hypotheses.
