Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Students, pastors and laypersons will benefit from this book, in which Ross gives a scholarly and lucid exposition of Isaiah 40?55. Interspersed throughout his detailed commentary are practical insights for God's people who are longing for a word of hope and encouragement. Ross writes of the "gospel" of Isaiah, a word from God that is intended for each individual. Throughout this "gospel" salvation is exultantly proclaimed, promised, and witnessed to. Interpreted in the light of the New Testament, this gospel calls us to come to God, the Fountain of Living Water, to allow our sins and spiritual sicknesses to be lifted from us by his Servant, the eternal Son, Jesus Christ.
