Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

About the AuthorDr. Keerthi Bollineni, raised in one of India's foremost atheist families, was deeply influenced by her maternal grandfather, Gora-a renowned socialist, freedom fighter and rationalist who shaped her independent outlook on life. Drawing on a childhood rooted in rationalism, Keerthi challenges societal norms, addressing issues like gender inequality, casteism and religion in governance. Through anecdotes from her life, she shares her journey of navigating relationships, single parenting, profound personal loss, including the devastating loss of her young child, and finding strength and purpose through atheism and humanism. Educated in India and abroad, Keerthi views learning as a lifelong process beyond the confines of degrees, and her career in the social sector reflects her commitment to empowering abuse survivors to reclaim their lives. Her writing showcases the transformative power of rationalism and humanism, inspiring others to embrace equality, self-reliance and dignity in the face of life's challenges.
