Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Witness of the Stars by E. W. Bullinger is a fascinating exploration of biblical astronomy, where the author connects the constellations of the night sky with biblical themes and prophecies. Bullinger, a 19th-century Anglican clergyman and theologian, argues that the stars were originally placed in the heavens as a testimony to God's plan of redemption, as outlined in the Bible. In this work, Bullinger traces each of the twelve zodiacal constellations and their associated stars, interpreting them as representations of key events in the story of salvation, such as the coming of Christ, His sacrifice, and ultimate victory over evil. He claims that ancient civilizations had a deep understanding of these divine messages, encoded in the stars, which predates written scripture. According to Bullinger, this celestial narrative was later corrupted by pagan interpretations, but its original meaning aligns with biblical truths.
