Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Consciousness has perennially been a subject of discussion in the realms of philosophy, medicine, psychology, and physics. Even today, lively debates persist within the dichotomy of monism, which posits that consciousness can be understood through physics alone, and dualism, which views consciousness as comprising both mind and matter. Furthermore, in the wake of the recent resurgence of artificial intelligence, it's only natural to inquire: Can machines possess consciousness? This book represents the culmination of the author's research efforts, delving deep into the intricate realms of consciousness. While exploring various philosophical and psychological points, it also highlights the role of physics in shedding light on the mysteries of human consciousness. Resonating deeply with the complexity of subjective experience, this book will support readers who wish to understand the essence of consciousness and embark on their own journey of modeling it. The necessary mathematical methods are explained in a clear and accessible manner, serving as an optimal guidebook for beginners.
