Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The place of the will in its influence upon health and vitality has long been recognized, not only by psychologists and those who pay special attention to problems of mental healing, but also, as a rule, by physicians and even by the general public. It is with the idea of pointing out how much the will can accomplish in changing things for the better that this volume is written. The majority of mankind are quite unable to realize the store of energy for their health and strength and well-being which is thus readily available, though so often unused or called upon but feebly.James Joseph Walsh was an American physician, medical educator, historian and author. Health Through Will Power, first published in 1919, is one of his best-known popular works. This new edition comes with an appendix featuring two chapters on mental influence over the body, drawn from Walsh's earlier work, Psychotherapy (1912).
