Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Meet Emilie, a curious four-year-old girl with a big heart, a multicultural family, and a world full of languages to explore.

Emilie is "italiorican"- her mother is Puerto Rican, her father is Sicilian, and her life in the United Kingdom is filled with the traditions, food, stories, and languages of the people she loves. She speaks Spanish with Mama, Italian with Papa, English at school, and Mandarin with her beloved nanny Abi.

From riding a red double-decker bus through London and dancing in her favorite class to cooking pasta with Papa, exploring museums, playing with her little sister Lili, and discovering new words with Abi, every day becomes an adventure.

But one night, Emilie asks an important question: Where do I belong?

Through the love and wisdom of her family, Emilie discovers that she doesn't have to choose just one place, language, or culture. Every part of her story belongs to her.

Emilie in London is a heartwarming multicultural children's story celebrating family, language, identity, curiosity, and the beautiful experience of growing up between cultures.

Perfect for young readers, multicultural families, multilingual children, and anyone who wants a child to know that all the pieces of who they are are worth celebrating.

Because Emilie's story is only beginning...
