Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Let's Go Fishing is a Christian devotional book built around the everyday experiences of fishing and the spiritual lessons they reveal. Through boats, tackle boxes, life jackets, motors, currents, anchors, tangled lines, empty nets, full nets, and time spent on the water, the book points readers back to Jesus and His call to become fishers of men.The devotions encourage readers to trust God, depend on the Holy Spirit, persevere when results are not visible, live with humility and accountability, guard their words, recognize temptation, and remain anchored in Christ. Many of the lessons also focus on discipleship-teaching children and new believers, walking patiently beside them, helping them grow in faith, and eventually preparing them to help someone else follow Jesus. The book's dedication and overall message emphasize reaching people for Christ and making disciples. At its heart, Let's Go Fishing reminds readers that the greatest catch is not the biggest fish in the cooler, but a life touched and transformed by Jesus. The closing message brings the entire book back to the Great Commission: stop only talking about fishing, go into the world, share the Gospel, make disciples, and remember that Jesus promises to be with us always.
