Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Sophion(TM), Uncle Humph(TM) and The Third Glimmering of GraceWhat happens when everyone tries to make a celebration perfect-and everything goes wrong?Sophion(TM) the Eagle-Winged Unicorn and Uncle Humph(TM) are preparing with their friends for a very special feast in the Kadayawan Valley. There will be food. There will be memories. There will be singing. There will, naturally, be emergency butterscotch. But then Patch(TM) spills the flour. The Great Grey Wolf burns the bread. The rabbits lose the napkins. The otters eat half the berries. Uncle Humph misplaces the recipe book. And Sophion becomes distracted by butterflies.Soon everyone is certain they have ruined everything. Then Leo the Stout-Hearted Lion(TM) arrives.Leo knows the songs. Leo knows the stories. Leo remembers everything. But instead of scolding his friends for getting things wrong, Leo begins to laugh-joyfully-and helps the Valley remember something even more important: The feast matters. But the reason for the feast matters more. The Third Glimmering of Grace is a gentle, playful story about memory, tradition, imperfection, belonging, and discovering that Grace does not wait for us to get everything exactly right. Sometimes the sacred thing is not performing the celebration perfectly, but remembering why we gathered together in the first place.Like every book in The Mabuhay Stories(TM), this tale invites readers to become part of the storytelling by reading aloud, sharing the story together, and creating their own lifelong illustrated edition.Because memories nourish us.Hope is hard to kill.Miracles happen. And because Grace rarely travels alone...the whole Valley can sing.Mabuhay!
