Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

What if changing the way you see something could change the way it feels? In The Way I See It, a little boy discovers a mysterious box containing six colorful pairs of glasses. But these are no ordinary glasses. Each pair helps him see everyday situations from a different point of view.Through moments of disappointment, worry, jealousy, frustration, and misunderstanding, he begins to discover something important: he may not always be able to change what happens, but he can pause, look again, and choose what he focuses on.With the help of the Thankful, Grumpy, Whining, Worry, Possibility, and Compassionate glasses, children are gently introduced to the idea of perspective-learning to notice what they have, recognize unhelpful thought patterns, look for possibilities, and consider what someone else might be feeling.Warmly illustrated and told through relatable childhood moments, The Way I See It gives parents and children a simple language they can bring into everyday life: "Which glasses are you wearing right now?"A thoughtful picture book about perspective, gratitude, resilience, problem-solving, empathy, and emotional awareness-and the powerful realization that sometimes, looking again can reveal a completely different view.Because we can't always change what happens... but we can choose how we look at it.
