Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Six-year-old Lilah has a big imagination-and one day, something she could never have imagined happens for real.A mysterious wind blows through her room, and suddenly Betty, the Magical Dish Fairy, appears with a shimmering rainbow dish. Betty explains that whenever Lilah is kind, helpful, and makes good choices, she may make a special food wish. But if she forgets those lessons, the Magical Dish will remain empty.Lilah soon discovers that the real magic isn't just the delicious spaghetti and meatballs, bacon, pancakes, pizza, and other treats that appear. Every wish becomes a chance to share with her family, make better choices, and bring back precious memories for her dad of his beloved Grandma Betty. But the Magical Dish cannot stay with Lilah forever. When Betty returns to give it to another child, Lilah learns the most important lesson of all: kindness, generosity, and love are gifts that remain with us long after the magic is gone.Lilah's Wish and the Magical Dish is a warm and imaginative story about family, sharing, making good choices, and the special people who remain forever in our hearts.
